The Sunderland Ultrasound Society is a group of consultant doctors from South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust who have post-graduate qualifications in Point-of-Care ultrasound and are enthusiastic about delivering high quality training to enable doctors and practitioners to improve this vital skill.

We ran our first course in March 2022 at Sunderland Royal Hospital and following some universally excellent feedback we are now in a position to expand.

We are a non-profit society with all proceeds from the course being re-invested into maintaining and improving our POCUS training facilities.
